Maja Gergorić

Maja Gergorić is a research assistant on the project Disobedient Democracy. She is a PhD student at the University of Zagreb. Maja holds a MA degree in Gender Studies from Central European University, Budapest, and an MA degree in Political Science with specialization in European Studies and Public Policy, Development and Management from University of Zagreb, Faculty of Political Science. Before joining the team, she worked as a social activism and political processes program manager for two non-profit organisation based in Zagreb: Organisation Status M and CESI – Center for education, counselling and research. She has continuously been a part of feminist grassroots initiatives and has advocated for social change. Her research is focused on exploring social movements, especially feminist and new right-wing movements, as well as shedding light on unequal division of labour, both with the intersection of class and gender.
