Workshop Who is An Activist Held @FPZG

The workshop Who is An Activist primarily set out to analyse biographical and transformative effects of protest. The sessions were organized around several themes, focusing on Old and New Actors, Discoursive Structures in Protest, Biographical Effects of Activism and the Ethical Register of Activism.

In terms of geographical coverage, cases spanned from Portugal and Spain, across Slovakia and the 2015 COP summit in Paris to analyses of municipalism and new protest movements in Serbia and Croatia.

The Disobedient Democracy team was very happy in hosting many promising new scholars, whom we hope to continue following and collaborating with.
