Berlin Summer School in Social Sciences

Our research assistant Karlo Kralj has participated in this year's edition of the 'Berlin Summer School in Social Sciences – linking theory and empirical research', co-organized by Berlin Graduate School of Social Sciences (BGSS) at Humboldt University and Berlin Social Science Centre (WZB).

The school was centered around the four following topics related to the social research: Epistemological Foundations of Methodological Paradigms; Concepts as Building Blocks of Theories; Causation and Explanation in the Social Sciences; and Linking Micro and Macro Perspectives. It brought together more than 50 young researchers at advanced master, doctoral, and early postdoctoral level. During the school, participants presented their research projects, and developed them through discussions and workshops.
